Tech, innovation & education evangelist; Ahmer is a serial entrepreneur, started professional career with Citibank and was part of the pioneer team of consumer banking business in Pakistan, with over 16 years of expertise in organizational development, leadership and effective management information systems, long-term strategic planning in senior management positions including Consumer banking, Bancassurance, & Micro insurance, Alternate Distribution Channels and Renewable Energy.
Since past many years working to improve lives and living conditions of people by creating and designing award-winning products ‘National Innovation Award for Best Micro Health Insurance Product’ for those at the bottom of the pyramid, launched ‘ICICI Lombard’ Banca business, Award-winning ‘On-line Motor insurance – Suzuki Insurance & Finance Program’, also designed, launched and managed retail, consumer & corporate products and businesses.
Ahmer spent 12 months on research & development in renewable energy, It combined the learning from local & global solar energy manufacturers, financial institutions, microfinance and commercial banks; re-launched renewable energy company from scratch and developed a business plan which brought rural electrification to 70,000 + off grid & underserved households and this retail distribution model of solar financing became a case study for IFC’s ‘Lighting Pakistan ‘program.

Aamir has 20 years of well-rounded experience of private equity, principal investments, project development and corporate finance advisory in Pk and MENA. Aamir founded bridggit in 2018 with an aim to develop a corporate development advisory powerhouse in GCC, South & East Asia.
